1. Administrative agreements with the USA, the United Kingdom and France regarding the monitoring of postal correspondence, mail and telecommunications in Germany are to be repealed.
2. Talks are to be held with the USA at expert level on any data gathering in Germany.
3. Germany is to push for a UN agreement on data protection.
4. Germany is to push ahead with the Data Protection Regulation.
5. Germany is to push for the production of common standards for intelligence services.
6. An ambitious European IT strategy is to be elaborated.
7.A round table on security technology in IT is to be established.
8."Deutschland sicher im Netz" (a German initiative for improved IT security) is to be strengthened.
