The German government is calmly confident that the good, tried and tested disaster relief structures at district and federal state level will continue to be effective. Bundeswehr troops, the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) and the federal police have already been deployed, and federal police helicopters are flying missions in the affected areas.
