Chancellor Angela Merkel has welcomed Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili to the Federal Chancellery for talks, which focused on ways of developing economic relations between Germany and Georgia.
They also discussed cooperation with the European Union and the situation in the Russian-supported break-away regions Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
